Broc O'Connor gets down and brown..
The Broc O’Connor bio
Started playing in Canberra in the mid '70s, cover bands and rock bands - including the infamous Kevin McLaughlin and the Murrumbidgee Orchestra. Here's an example from power trio, The Breeze.
Moved to Sydney in 1980 to join pop outfit Metro. Ten years there including a brief stint with Melbourne based outfit Dear Enemy and a longer on-going musical collaboration with King of Pop winner Ross Ryan. Original band Radio Red had some success during this time. Lucky enough to encounter various musical settings ranging from live theatre bands, music for dance troupes, African music through to electronica and sequenced '80s hair bands! Here's a track featuring Kiwi actor/musician Vince Martin from Block of Units .
In 1990 returned to Melbourne and was fortunate to find musical feet - starting with Iain McLennan, continuing with Ross Ryan and again a wide
variety of musical situations including five years with blues band The Wolfe Gang with Robbo on drums.
Currently playing with Wiley J and the Intrepid Hounds.
