September
The bits of stuff that fall in the cracks between Life, Music and Outrageous Fortune.

1) Little Europe in Fitzroy 2) Maria orders our croissants at the always very busy Lune Croissanterie
It may as well rain until September..
12.10.16 - Or should that be October? This is by way of a token nod to the missing month of September, about which I remember very little - except for the croissants. I think it was Epicure in The Age that alerted M to the prospect of Fitzroy having the world's best croissants. The rest of Melbourne already knew this to be the case apparently, because when we got there on whatever weekend, the place was still decidedly rockin' but had run out of their interesting varieties of croissants. (pic 1)
M went ahead and ordered some basic examples anyhow, but we were still compelled to wait a further half-an-hour for them to be baked, so we elected to take a walk around the back streets of Fitzroy.
Pretending to be hapless tourists turned out to be quite fun - I'd forgotten how interesting Fitzroy can be (pic 2) - but when we returned after the requisite 30 minutes we still had to wait another 10 before we took delivery of some classic examples of the croissant genre. (Is confectionary right?)
Anyway, I'\m sure this is old news to you, but they were frighteningly delicious.
