| Who would've thought that I'd have to resort to bootlegging myself to satisfy the constant enquiries for Ariel's classic first album, A Strange Fantastic Dream? Luckily I'd saved some sleeves from Rare Vision's first pressing and with Laneway's help I've got a small number of copies to share with you. There's room on the label for an autograph too, so the first twenty orders will get the signed version of ASFD to keep under their pillows. $30 + postage |

This is the very latest of Gil Matthews' astonishing remasters in the Aztec Records series of Ruddy recordings. This one is a double album of live Ariel performances, beginning with the Double J recording of the three guitar version of Ariel with Harvey James, Glyn Mason and myself twanging like there was no tomorrow. (Ironically, Harvey left Ariel to join Sherbet shortly thereafter). We pluckers and strummers were accompanied by the highly qualified rhythm section of messrs Putt and Macara. |

| about.. | |
| This equally belated release is by way of a thank you to those rock’n’roll soldiers that kept the whole thing moving for Spectrum and Ariel i.e. the roadies. With no thought for the future they all too often burnt out with no-one to care for them in their dotage. These days roadies are represented by Support Act and ARCA (Australian Road Crew Association) that now and then discovers desk tapes like this one, Ariel LIVE at Martini’s 1976, a snapshot of the band taken not long before the bevy of sentimental Aloha-type farewells at the Dallas Brooks Hall and the Theb. in Adelaide. $25 + postage |

| The
first and possibly most 'progressive' set of all the Spectrum releases,
the original vinyl release of Spectrum Part One on EMI's prestigious
Harvest label was notorious for not including the band's hit
single I'll Be Gone / Launching Place Part ll (at Rudd's
behest). This Aztec Music CD release makes up for that by including three different versions of the I'll Be Gone recording plus a number of other bonus tracks. $25 + postage |

| Milesago
was one of the earliest double albums of the era and probably the earliest
Australian double album with all original material. The gatefold cover
by Ian McCausland remains suggestive without giving too much away about
the diversity of the content. This diversity could be considered to be
the genesis of Rudd's later strategy in creating The Indelible Murtceps. Bonus tracks add to an already crammed binge session. $30 + postage |

| Melbourne
author Craig Horne has done a marvellous job making my life (so far) in the Oz
musical sphere sound pretty interesting and the contextual '70s'
Melbourne references provide a fascinating backdrop. 'The song' as mentioned in the book's title may not have actually captured the entire generation, but is modest licence when compared to other biographies. Why not suck it and see? $30 + postage |
